Meallmore appoints two new non-executive directors

Leading care provider, Meallmore Ltd, has appointed Gavin Manson and Martyn Everett to its Board of Directors in non-executive roles.

Gavin is currently Non-Executive Director of Unbound Group PLC and until June was Chairman of Hostmore PLC. His previous experience includes being Chief Financial and Operating Officer of Electra Private Equity PLC and holding Finance Director roles at Thomas Cook Group PLC and Premier Farnell PLC. He has held senior leadership positions in businesses across a range of sectors over the last 25 years, including clothing, travel and hospitality. He brings extensive skills in growth, financing, performance improvement and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Martyn is a seasoned professional, with extensive experience leading strategic assignments for businesses in the publicly quoted, private equity and public sectors. He is currently Non-Executive Director at Stewart Milne Group, as well as Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee at Interserve Group. His previous roles include Chairman of Mar City PLC and Redhall Group PLC, and Executive Chairman of Whitworths Group.

Since opening its first care home, Daviot Care Home (formally known as Meallmore Lodge) in Inverness in 1987, Meallmore has grown to become one of Scotland’s leading care providers.

Meallmore currently has a network of 26 care homes across Scotland, including offering care for the elderly and adults with mental health diagnosis.
