Situated in the picturesque village of Alness in the Scottish Highlands, Redwoods is a purpose built home, set within the walled garden of an impressive Victorian country estate. The home provides high quality nursing care to elderly people, including those with dementia and associated conditions.
A complete care programme
Featuring well-appointed ensuite rooms, Redwoods utilises some of the latest technology to make residents as comfortable and safe as possible. This includes a progressive secure dementia unit which complements the existing nursing care facilities. As part of this, we encourage residents and their families to be involved at all stages of the care planning and other aspects of care home life.
A social experience
Ensuring that residents can retain as much independence as possible is a priority at Redwoods and with four spacious lounge and dining areas and a dedicated activities/reminiscence room, those in our care are able to enjoy socialising and participating in many of their favourite hobbies and activities. These spaces are also pleasant spots for residents to enjoy high quality nutritious meals produced by the highly skilled catering team.

The beautiful wooded surroundings make for a wonderful sense of tranquillity, and our secure gardens are extremely popular with residents wanting to sit and relax or perhaps indulge in a spot of gardening.
