Meallmore’s residents, colleagues and communities join forces to walk over 7,000 miles in a week, raising £7,000 for Cancer Research UK.
Meallmore is thrilled to announce that applications are now open for 66 exciting new positions within the company as part of the UK Government’s Kickstart Scheme.
24 out 26 of Meallmore care homes across Scotland are taking part in the scheme, and we have a variety of different roles on offer in a bid to help young people into work.
For six months, successful applicants will gain invaluable work-based experience and learn more about the highly rewarding careers available in the care sector. During this time new employees will have the opportunity to work across different parts of the business, including hospitality and catering, administration services and care.
What’s more, we’re hoping this is just the start of a career with Meallmore for many of our Kickstart applicants. We’re committed to offering roles in our care homes to anyone wishing to join us permanently after three months into the Kickstart Scheme. We really hope to retain every single one of our Kickstarters!
Our people are at the heart of what we do at Meallmore and we’re proud to offer training, competitive wages and career progression opportunities for all our employees. We’re really excited about getting involved in the Kickstart Scheme and welcoming a new generation into the Meallmore family to develop their career in care.
The following Meallmore care homes are taking part in the Kickstart Scheme:
