Care Homes
in Scotland.

Meallmore - Where later life is lived well.

Thirty care homes across Scotland, each led by people who believe later life deserves warmth, dignity and beautifully considered surroundings.

CARE THAT FEELS PERSONAL

A care home should feel like home.

That means knowing the person behind every routine, every preference and every conversation. From the meals we prepare to the gardens we care for, everything begins with the people who live with us. Almost forty years on, that is still what defines a Meallmore home.

Family-owned since 1987

Scotland’s largest
family-owned care provider.

Meallmore has spent almost forty years caring for the people of Scotland. From a single home in the Highlands, we’ve grown to thirty homes from Inverness to Edinburgh - and stayed family-owned every step of the way.

We deliver residential, nursing, dementia, palliative and respite care with registered nurses on-site twenty-four hours a day. Every home is led by people who believe later life deserves warmth, dignity and clinical excellence in equal measure.

Our Homes

Thirty homes.
One standard of care.

From the Highlands to the Central Belt, every Meallmore home is chosen for its character, its setting, and the community of people it serves.

How we care

Considered in every detail.
Clinical in every measure.

The Home

The Home
carefully chosen.

Every Meallmore home has its own character, from historic villas and country estates to thoughtfully designed modern homes. We respect what makes each setting special, while creating warm, welcoming spaces that support comfort, independence and everyday life.

The Care

The Care
clinically led.

Registered nurses provide round-the-clock support in our nursing homes, alongside experienced teams with expertise in dementia, palliative and complex care. Together, they combine strong clinical practice with warmth, compassion and a clear understanding of what matters to each person.

The Day

The Day
your way.

Seasonal menus prepared by our chefs. Gardens made to be enjoyed. Music, conversation, activities and time to relax. Life at Meallmore is shaped around each person - their interests, routines, choices and the things that make every day meaningful.

FOOD AND DINING

Food that tastes of somewhere

Menus, dining spaces and mealtime routines vary from home to home, but the approach is always personal. Our chefs and hospitality teams get to know individual tastes, dietary needs and favourite dishes, making mealtimes something to enjoy and look forward to.

SPACES TO ENJOY

PLACES TO RELAX, CONNECT AND FEEL AT HOME

Every Meallmore home offers its own mix of indoor and outdoor spaces. That may include gardens, terraces, lounges, quiet corners or shared areas for spending time with family and friends. Each space is designed to support comfort, choice and everyday life.

LIFE IN EACH CARE HOME

DAYS SHAPED AROUND INDIVIDUAL INTERESTS

Activities and experiences are planned around the people living in each home. That might include music, creative activities, gentle exercise, outings, community visits or simply time spent enjoying a familiar hobby. The programme changes as residents’ interests, ideas and preferences change.

Family Member

From the moment we walked in, we knew. The staff met my mother with genuine kindness and treated her like the person she is - not just another resident.
