Overview

St Olaf is one of the foremost care homes in the Eastern Highlands, located in the historic seaside town of Nairn. Our home provides high-quality care for elderly residents, including those affected by dementia, strokes, or Parkinson's disease, and we have a specialised unit for those living with dementia.

Excellent facilities

Our fully-furnished ensuite rooms include suites complete with a kitchenette and dining facilities, while the latest technology ensures maximum comfort, safety and mobility. Our dedicated staff members, many of whom have been part of our team for years, provide a personalised service that prioritises continuity of care.

Remaining stimulated

At St Olaf, we believe that residents should retain as much independence as possible. Our Activities Coordinator and programme enable residents to continue participating in their favourite hobbies and even discover new ones. Six spacious lounge and dining areas encourage socialisation while enjoying healthy and delicious meals from the skilled catering team.

Plenty to see and do

Our secure landscaped gardens provide a relaxing retreat for residents to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, or take part in some gardening. Additionally, our onsite hair and beauty salon is a popular spot for pampering. Join us at St Olaf and discover why we're known for providing exceptional care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

At St Olaf we provide high quality, personalised nursing care for elderly people. We also have a specialist unit dedicated for those living with Dementia and have facilities for respite care.

The home offers 41 fully furnished en-suite bedrooms finished to exceptionally high standards. Some of our rooms are suites, and include a small kitchenette and dining facilities.

We also have some of the latest technology to ensure the safety, well-being and mobility of our residents, while allowing them to retain as much of their independence as possible.

As Care Home Manager, I am committed to developing a relaxed and happy home where people enjoy living and working. We offer residents a variety of activities that can be tailored to their needs to ensure they can socialise and continue to enjoy hobbies.

There are six spacious lounge/dining areas so residents can choose where to enjoy the nutritious meals prepared by our highly skilled catering team.

Our landscaped gardens are easily accessible, providing an attractive area to sit and relax or enjoy a spot of gardening. Residents can also choose to pop into our hairdressing and beauty salon for a spot of pampering.

Provision of first class care means we encourage residents, and their families, to participate in the home’s commitment to quality and become fully involved at all stages of care planning, as well as many other aspects of care home life.

We have access to allied health professionals, including physiotherapists and podiatrists.

There is also full medical support from local General Practitioners, the local hospital and the Community Mental Health Team.

The home is conveniently located in Nairn, close to Inverness.
