Welcome to St Olaf
The historic seaside town of Nairn plays host to St Olaf, one of the foremost care homes in the Eastern Highlands. Providing high quality care for elderly residents and with a specialist unit for those living with dementia, the home caters towards the frail elderly and those affected by dementia, strokes or Parkinson's disease.
Excellent facilities
St Olaf has fully-furnished ensuite rooms, some of which are suites that include a kitchenette and dining facilities. We have invested heavily in some of the latest technology to ensure maximum comfort, safety and mobility for residents. Most of the staff have been employed at St Olaf for several years, allowing for continuity in care and a personalised service.
Remaining stimulated
The home prides itself on creating a happy, comfortable environment where residents can retain as much independence as possible. As such, there is a dedicated Activities Coordinator and programme that enables residents to continue enjoying their favourite hobbies, and even take up some new ones. The six spacious lounge and dining areas provide a comfortable area for residents to socialise and enjoy healthy and tasty meals provided by the skilled catering team.
Plenty to see and do
Residents can relax in the secure landscaped gardens around St Olaf and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, or take part in some gardening. Alternatively, the onsite hair and beauty salon always proves popular for a spot of pampering.
