Welcome to Kincaid House
Kincaid House is a modern care home in Inverclyde which boasts beautiful views of the River Clyde and mountains beyond.
The home offers a choice of ensuite bedrooms, all of which are fully furnished to an exceptionally high standard. Although Kincaid House is one of the larger Meallmore homes, it is subdivided into three smaller units made up of cosy living spaces, dining areas and activity rooms, providing a real home-from-home feel.
Wonderful gardens
Our attractive landscaped gardens provide a peaceful place to walk, sit, and relax, and we are proud to have won Meallmore’s annual gardening competition, Meallmore in Bloom, in 2018.
Local links and social activities
Kincaid House aims to promote community living by organising a wide range of activities both inside and outside the home, including effective animal therapy and visits from the local nursery. Residents are encouraged to keep up with their hobbies and socialise, or enjoy private time alone, helping them to retain their individuality.
Award-winning dementia care
The care home caters for frail elderly residents and also has a dedicated unit for people living with dementia. It won a Scottish Care Award for Dementia Service of the Year in 2014 and has developed its Dementia Strategy to support people at all stages of their journey to live a positive and meaningful life.
