We provide luxury living for older people in a homely environment. We cater for a wide range of care needs including high quality, personalised nursing and dementia care and have installed some of the latest technology to create an environment that is as safe and comfortable as possible.
We have a selection of rooms far surpassing national standards. These include executive suites with kitchenettes to enjoy home cooking, and ground floor garden rooms with French doors to a serene private patio area. All are tastefully decorated and equipped with ensuite shower rooms and smart TVs.
Try something new
We pride ourselves on ensuring that residents remain engaged and stimulated, while retaining as much of their independence as possible. With a dedicated activities coordinator, we encourage everyone to continue to enjoy their hobbies, as well as taking up a few new ones. Our activities programme changes weekly, so there is always something different for everyone to try, from arts and crafts and dancing to alpaca visits for animal therapy.

Mearns House is designed around a beautiful courtyard garden with large windows which makes the home extremely light and airy. It has an excellent range of spacious lounge and dining areas and shared facilities including a private cinema, a recently refurbished hair and beauty salon and two café areas.
The lounge and dining areas offer an ideal space to socialise with other residents and enjoy some quality food prepared by our skilled catering team.
